Once the implant is placed, it needs time to integrate with the jawbone – a process known as osseointegration. This healing period can take several months. During this time, it is crucial not to overload the implant and to maintain excellent oral hygiene. We provide you with clear instructions on how to care for your implant.
After approximately 3 months, when the bone and gums have healed around the implant, a crown or bridge can be attached. Depending on your needs, a full or partial denture may also be fitted.
